Frustrating Day For Rahal At St Petersburg
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal driving the No.15 Steak N’Shake Honda had what he described as a ‘frustrating day’ as the opening day of track action for the first race of the 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series season, the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg.
Rahal set the 17th fastest time of the afternoon session, a 01:03.4818s and speaking following the opening day of track action, Rahal commented by saying:
It was a frustrating day. We are trying to get through a lot and obviously struggling to find our way here a little bit. There is a lot of work to be done. We have to find some pace for sure for qualifying otherwise we’re going to have to create some magic in the race. We will work hard to pick up some pace and move the Steak ‘n Shake car further up the time sheets.
