Chaves And Harding Racing Head To Texas Motor Speedway

Verizon IndyCar Series driver Gabby Chaves and his new team Harding Racing will join the competitors at Texas Motor Speedway on Wednesday for the series open test.

It was announced on Monday that Chaves, the 2015 Sunoco Rookie of the year will compete in the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil next month with Harding Racing, a venture back by Mike Harding and Denis Reinbold (formerly of Dreyer and Reinbold Racing).

The outfit who are powered by Chevrolet have a Dallara chassis prepared and ready for the test with Chaves hitting the track on Tuesday morning.

Chaves will receive great support from two time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser who has been brought in as the teams driver instructor. Chaves will drive the No.88 Harding Racing Chevrolet.
