The Race Is Going To Be Tough
McLaren Honda Andretti driver Fernando Alonso knows that his toughedt challenge is going to be the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil itself.
The double Formula One world champion ended Monday morning’s opening practice session at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the fastest driver.
The Spaniard completed 20 laps in the afternoon session and ended the day in 19th place.
Alonso was joined at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Monday by McLaren Racing Director Eric Bouiller and McLaren Executive Director Zak Brown.
