Hinchcliffe Not Worried About Engine Issue
Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe who starts tomorrow’s 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 from 17th place suffered an engine failure during Friday’s Carb Day.
Hinchcliffe is upbeat despite the failure saying he was happy as during Carb Day he and the No.5 crew were up there with the front running and that is where he hopes to be on Sunday, competing for victory.
Hopefully, the new one will be strong in the race. “It’s not ideal because brand new motors need some calibration but we will put our
heads down and go.
Hinchcliffe who started from pole position here last year will be hoping that he can move up the field early in the race and with a good race strategy he should be able to find himself challenging for the win by the end of the race.
