Bourdais To Attend The Indianapolis 500
Dale Coyne Racing’s Sebastien Bourdais will attend Sunday’s 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil as a spectator it was confirmed at at the circuit this morning.
The Frenchman suffered multiple fractures in an accident during qualifying for the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil last Saturday and underwent surgery last Saturday and was released from hospital earlier this week.
Australian James Davison will drive in Bourdais’ place in the No.18 GEICO Honda and will start the race from 33rd on the grid.
Dale Coyne has yet to confirm who drive in Bourdais’ place in the No.18 Honda for the rest of the season, with team owner Dale Coyne confirming that the Frenchman will be out for the rest of the season.
