Rahal Hoping For The Same Today
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal in the No.15 United Rentals/SoldierStrong/TurnsForTroops Honda says he is hoping for more of the same in today’s second race at Belle Isle.
Rahal dominated race one of the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Lear on Saturday starting the race from pole position, leading 55 of the 70 lap race.
Rahal knows that the weather could play a key part in today’s on track action as it is expected to rain in Detroit today however he remains hopeful that the No.15 crew can pick up from where they left off in Belle Isle on Saturday.
Speaking about having Oriol Servia in the second RLLR car is great for the team and that he bounce some idea’s off him in relation today’s race.
Speaking following race one, Rahal commented by saying:
We’ve shown some speed at times this year, but we haven’t had a lot of luck. Today, we had a combination of speed, the yellows didn’t come out at bad times for us and we certainly had the pace. Pretty pleased with that and hopefully tomorrow we can do the same.
