The Verizon IndyCar Series teams hit the road again this week following an expensive weekend at the Texas Motor Speedway.

All the teams with the exception of Chip Ganassi Racing head to Road America for an open Verizon IndyCar Series test to prepare ahead of the Kohler Grand Prix in two weeks time.

The test takes place on Wednesday. Ganassi are sending two cars to Watkins Glen where they will test on Wednesday.

It is unclear what Dale Coyne Racing, Schmidt Peterson Motorsports and Andretti Autosport’s plans for the test are following the events in Texas which saw considerable damage done to their cars.

The Kolher Grand Prix takes place on June 25th, which gives teams plenty of time to get their cars sorted out for the race.
