Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s Graham Rahal heads to the ABC Supply 500 next weekend in sixth place in the Verizon IndyCar Series championship on 395 points.

Team co-owner Bobby Rahal who is a three time Verizon IndyCar Series champion and won the 1986 Indianapolis 500 believes his son Graham can still win the championship.

Rahal has been extremely strong this season and has two wins after taking victories at the Chevrolet Detroit Grand Prix presented by Lear in June.

Rahal said that it is going to be tough for the team to beat the four Penske’s up to the last race, the GoPro Grand Prix of Sonoma (which counts for double points), but they will do everything possible to do that.

Bobby Rahal says that RLL have improved their qualifying compared to last season and even if they have issues in races they are still in fifth, sixth, seventh.

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing are currently the highest placed Honda team after Chip Ganassi Racing’s Scott Dixon in the Verizon IndyCar Series championship with four races remaining.
