Harding Racing Focused On 2018 Following Disappointing But Solid Race In Pocono
Harding Racing’s Gabby Chaves and his No.88 Chevrolet crew were left frustrated following a disappointing end to the ABC Supply 500 at Pocono Raceway on Sunday.
Chaves, competing in his final race of the season before going full-time in the Verizon IndyCar Series for 2018 with Harding Racing finished the race in 15th place.
The Colombian started the race from eighth place, despite not getting the result they wanted they can come away from 2017 with delight following two strong races at the 101 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil and the Rainguard Water Sealers 500 which gives the team a fantastic platform and foundation to build on for 2018.
Speaking following the race, Chaves commented by saying:
Tough race today. Great pace but missed the ball on the setup for traffic. Heads down and focus on 2018!
The team said:
Not the finish we had hoped for today. But, a strong, clean race. Looking forward to 2018. #Hardingracing88
The outfit can be proud of what they have achieved in such a short time frame and can look forward to a very bright future in the Verizon IndyCar Series.
