Juncos Aiming To Run A Two Car IndyCar Programme In 2018

Ricardo Juncos has confirmed that he is working on entering the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series championship with two cars full-time.

The Argentinean who Juncos Racing team made their Verizon IndyCar Series debut at the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil in May fielding Spencer Pigot and Sebastian Saavedra says right now they are working on the marketing side to gain sponsorship.

Juncos have a new race shop in Speedway Indiana and he says that if they can’t run a two car team next season he hopes for at least one car full-time in the Verizon IndyCar Series.

Kyle Kaiser who won the Indy Lights championship presented by Cooper Tires has a guaranteed drive in the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil and despite interest from other teams, Juncos is hopeful he can run Kaiser in the Indy 500.

If his plan comes to fruition, Juncos would join Mike Harding and Harding Racing in making a full-time Verizon IndyCar Series programme.

Speaking to the official IndyCar Juncos said there is a lot of work to do before everything is finalized for 2018.
