Sato Heads To Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing For 2018 Seat Fitting
Takuma Sato headed to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing’s HQ in Brownsburg, Indiana on Monday for his 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series seat fitting.
The Japanese driver who is reigning Indianapolis 500 champion having won the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil in May with Andretti Autosport has returned to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing alongside Graham Rahal.
Sato also visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway with his countryman, Yoshihide Muroya who on Sunday became the first Japanese pilot to win the Red Bull Air Race which was held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway over the weekend.
The pair kissed the bricks before Muroya joined Sato at Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing where he sat in Graham Rahal’s No.15 United Rentals/TurnsForTroops Honda.
