Marotti Racing Interested In Danica Patrick
Marotti Racing team owner Will Marotti has confirmed to Paddock Eye that his team may be interested in making an offer to Danica Patrick for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil next May.
Patrick announced on Friday that she will retire from full-time motorsport competition following Sunday’s NASCAR race in Miami.
During the press conference, Patrick confirmed that she will race in the Daytona 500 in February before finishing her career with the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
Chip Ganassi has confirmed that he has held preliminary talks with Patrick and her team but that there is a lot of work to do before a deal can be done.
