Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team co-owner Bobby Rahal, the man who brought Danica Patrick into the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2005 says he is certain that the Illinois native can find a competitive drive for next year’s 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

Patrick made her IndyCar debut with Rahal Letterman Racing in 2005 and became the first female driver to led the Indianapolis 500.

While Rahal is delighted to see his former driver return to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the Indy 500, he has confirmed that his Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team will not be running Patrick in the most famous motorsport race in the world.
