Several IndyCar Drivers Sign Up For The 2018 Race Of Champions In Saudi Arabia

Several Verizon IndyCar Series drivers have been confirmed for the 2018 Race of Champions which takes place in Riyadh, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on February 2 and 3 2018.

Team Penske’s Indianapolis 500 winner Juan Pablo Montoya will attempt to retain his Race of Champions title and speaking about his return on Twitter, the Colombian said:

eady to defend title at the King Fahd International Stadium in Saudi Arabia on February 2-3 2018 Listo para defender el título en Arabia Saudita.

Montoya’s team mate and three time Indy 500 champion Helio Castroneves has also been confirmed for the event. In response to Juan Pablo on Twitter, the Brazilian commented saying:

I’m going to get you this year! 👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻Este ano darei um jeito em vc!😉

Team Penske’s 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series champion Josef Newgarden has also been confirmed for the 2018 Race of Champions as has Andretti Autosport’s Ryan Hunter Reay.
