Two In A Row For Bottas As He Takes Pole In Abu Dhabi
Mercedes Valtteri Bottas took his second pole position in a row for Sunday’s 2017 Formula One season ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at the Yas Marina circuit.
The Finnish set a fastest time of 01:36.231s and will start the race just ahead of his team mate and world champion Lewis Hamilton.
Ferrari’s Sebastian Vettel will start the race from third place just ahead of his former Red Bull team mate Daniel Ricciardo.
Kimi Raikkonen in the second Ferrari will start the race from fifth place just ahead of Max Verstappen in the second Red Bull. The Renault Sport F1 Team’s Nico Hulkenberg will start the race from seventh just ahead of his former team mate Sergio Perez in the Force India.
Esteban Ocon starts the race from ninth place while Williams Martini Racing`s Felipe Massa will start his final Formula One race from 10th place.
Fernando Alonso starts the race from 11th just ahead the Renault Sport F1 Team’s Carlos Sainz while McLaren Honda’s Stoffel Vandoorne will start the race from 13th place just ahead of the Haas F1 Team’s Kevin Magnussen.
Williams Martini Racing’s Lance Stroll starts the race from 15th place just ahead of the Haas F1 Team’s Romain Grosjean. Toro Rossi driver Pierre Gasly starts from 17th place just ahead of the Sauber duo of Pascal Wehrlein and Marcus Ericsson.
Brendon Hartley who has a grid penalty for the race starts the event from the back in 20th.
