Motorsport.com Named Official Digital Media Partner Of Formula E

The FIA Formula E World Championship announced on Thursday ahead of this weekend’s season opening Hong Kong ePrix that Motorsport.com have been named as the new digital media partner to the all-electric racing series.

The new partnership is an expansion of Motorsport Network’s involvement in the sport after it was announced in January that the company had taken up an ownership stake in the racing series.

Speaking about the new partnership, Formula E Founder and CEO, Alejandro Agag commented by saying:

We’re delighted to welcome Motorsport Network as our digital media partner – as we aim to benefit from the extensive reach of their platforms to bring Formula E content to as many passionate fans around the world. Formula E is transforming motor racing for the digital generation and as the leading motoring and motorsport media operation, Motorsport Network are the ideal partner to continue growing our presence in this space.”

Chairman of Motorsport News Zak Brown commented on the deal saying:
