Long Beach City Council Unanimously Agree To Host IndyCar Until 2023
The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach can look forward to a bright future on the Verizon IndyCar Series schedule after Long Beach city council unanimously voted on Tuesday night to allow the race to continue in the city until at least the end of the of 2023 season.
Earlier this year, Long Beach city council confirmed that IndyCar would stay at its current location despite Formula One bidding for the hosting rights for the Grand Prix of Long Beach.
Speaking about the news, Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach President and CEO, Jim Michaelian commented by saying:
