Total Quartz Named Official Lubricant Partner To Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing

Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing have confirmed that Total Quartz have been named the team’s official lubricant provider after agreeing a multi-year partnership.

The new deal will also see Graham Rahal’s No.15 Honda receive primary sponsorship from Total Quartz for the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach in April. The deal sees Rahal and Total Quartz reunite for the first time since 1992 when Bobby Rahal won the IndyCar championship.

The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach will be the first time in the company’s history that Total Quartz will have served a a primary sponsor to an IndyCar.

Speaking about the deal, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing team co-owner, Bobby Rahal commented by saying:

I am very pleased to welcome Total back to the team after many years. “Reuniting with a world class company like Total, that is not only the fourth largest oil and gas company in the world, but one that also has a long and successful history in motorsports globally, is very exciting. Renewing the relationship with them after having been together for my championship year in 1992 is a real thrill for me personally given our success. It is an exciting time for the company as they expand in North America.  We look forward to helping spread the word and flying the Total colors at Long Beach as the primary sponsor and seeing them on our cars as an associate sponsor for many years to come.

The 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season is set to be a big year of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing as they expand to a two car full-time programme following 2017 Indianapolis 500 winner Takuma Sato’s arrival to the outfit from Andretti Autosport.

Bobby Rahal has confirmed that his team will be making more announcements regarding new partners in the coming weeks as the countdown to the green flag at the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg continues.

The Firestone Grand Prix of the St Petersburg takes place from March 9-11
