Harding Racing’s Gabby Chaves heads into his fourth Indianapolis 500 next weekend and his second with the Indianapolis based outfit who made their Verizon IndyCar Series debut at the race last year.

Chaves who finished the IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in 17th place is looking forward to getting back out on track.

Speaking in a video posted by Harding Racing on their official Facebook page, the Colombian said that the anticipation is the same as when he first took part in the Indianapolis 500 as a rookie.

The team were happy with how they performed at the IndyCar Grand Prix of Indianapolis at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course.

President of Harding Racing Brian Barnhart commented by saying:

We made some positive strides on the weekend as a whole. But we didn’t execute the pit stops in the manner and fashion that we needed to. So unfortunately, every bit of progress made during the race we gave it up every time we get into pit road and that’s just something you can’t afford to do in the Verizon IndyCar series. We’re going to make sure we’re going to focus and execute our pit stops better as we prepare for the Indianapolis 500.
