Fuel The Female Indianapolis Event A Huge Success

Katie Hargitt’s Fuel The Female organisation held their first event at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Tuesday, the opening day of practice for the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.

Girls were invited to attend the event and were show how the pit stands at the Speedway are set up for the month of May and during the lunch break, they had a real treat as they were joined by Ed Carpenter Racing’s Danica Patrick who spoke about her motor-racing career and also her business interests outside of racing.

Patrick, who became the first female racing driver to win a major open wheel race in 2008 when she won the Indy Japan 300 will take part in her final race next weekend driving the No.13 GoDaddy.com Chevrolet for Ed Carpenter Racing in the 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil.
