Defending Indianapolis 500 winner Takuma Sato says that driving the new 2018 universal aero-kit in traffic at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is very challenging.

The Japanese driver won the 101st running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil with Andretti Autosport in 2017. A lot has changed for Sato in the last 12 months, the biggest change for the Verizon IndyCar Series veteran is the fact that he has returned to Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing this season teaming up with Graham Rahal as the team expanded their operation to a two car full-time programme.

Sato and Rahal are joined for 102nd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil by veteran Verizon IndyCar Series driver Oriol Servia allowing the team to draw from vast amounts of data from three different crews.
