Williams Martini Racing’s Deputy Team Principal Claire Williams says that the Grove based outfit are currently assessing where they need to make changes in order to return to front of the sport.

The Grove based outfit are currently last in the Constuctors championship with Lance Stroll having scored the team’s only points in Baku earlier this season where he finished in eighth place.

Williams saw a slight improvement in their fortunea during practice on Friday for Sunday’s British Grand Prix at the Silverstone circuit where Lance Stroll finished inside the top ten.

Speaking at Silverstone on Friday, Claire, who became Deputy Team Principal in 2013 said that for her it is soul destroying to see the team struggle the way they but that it is just a temporary situation.

The team brought in Paddy Lowe from Mercedes in 2017 as their new chief technical officer and he is working extremely hard with his engineering staff to turn the team’s fortunes around.
