Team Penske’s Ryan Blaney who drives the No.12 Pennzoil Ford Fusion in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series heads into this weekend’s race at Bristol Raceway aiming for a strong result.

Reflecting on his previous trip to Bristol earlier this season Blaney commented by saying:

It’s obviously frustrating when lapped cars wreck and take the leader out. That’s unfortunate That stinks. I thought we had a good car and nothing to show for it.

Blaney has one top ten finish at Bristol Motor Raceway in six starts here in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and won here in both the Xfinity and Camping World Truck Series.

Blaney heads into this weekend’s race in eighth place in the points standings with three top ten finishes in the last five races which includes a podium finish at Kentucky Speedway last month.
