There was a dramatic end to the Six Hours of Silverstone FIA World Endurance Championship event on Sunday.

Following a post race investigation, race officials found that both Toyota Gazoo Racing TS050 Hybrid LMP1 cars had technical infringements.

The news hands Rebellion Racing’s #3 entry driven by Gustavo Menezes, Thomas Laurent and Mathias Beche to the win.

The #1 sister Rebellion Racing entry driven by Neel Jani and Andre Lotterer was promoted to second giving Rebellion a 1-2 finish.

SMP Racing’s #17 BR Engineering BR1-AER of former F1 driver Stephane Sarrazin and Egor Orudzhev completed the revised podium in third place.
