No Word From Ganassi Over The No.10 IndyCar Seat Despite Rosenqvist Reports
Chip Ganassi Racing have made no statement regarding who will partner Scott Dixon in the Verizon IndyCar Series in 2019.
Over the weekend several websites reported that Formula E driver Felix Rosenqvist has signed a contract to join Scott Dixon at the team replacing Ed Jones however Chip Ganassi Racing have made no announcement regarding this matter.
Jones who joined the team from Dale Coyne Racing over the 2017 off-season replacing Tony Kanaan in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda as Ganassi cut his IndyCar programme from four cars to two.
Since joining the team Jones has scored two podiums which came at the Toyta Grand Prix of Long Beach where he finished in third place and he followed this up with another third place in Detroit race 2 in June.
Jones heads into this weekend’s Grand Prix of Portland, in 12th place in the championship on 297 points.
