Portland Strategy Guide With Mike Hull
Chip Ganassi Racing Managing Director Mike Hull tweeted a strategy guide for today’s penultimate round of the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series season, the Portland Grand Prix.
Chip Ganassi Racing’s Ed Jones in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda will start today’s race from eighth place.
Series points leader Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda starts the race from 11th place.
Taking to Twitter on race day morning, Hull Tweeted:
Laps x 3 stops x 29 laps; 2:30EST@NBCSports
; Red tires seem a speed advantage; past#INDYCAR
yellow history says 9% avrg; lose 1/2 lap w/green stop, so timed yellow pitstop might negate leader pure speed runner.
