Drivers Enjoy Track Time At Indianapolis Motor Speedway
Chip Ganassi Racing’s 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series champion Scott Dixon in the No.9 PNC Bank Honda was in action at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday conducting tire testing for Firestone ahead of the 2019 IndyCar season.
The five time champion was joined at the test by 2018 Indianapolis 500 winner Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Team Penske Chevrolet, Ed Carpenter in the No.20 Fuzzy’s Vodka Chevrolet for Ed Carpenter Racing and Andretti Autosport’s Alexander Rossi in the No.27 NAPA Auto Parts Honda.
Ed Jones, fresh from signing a contract to drive for Ed Carpenter Racing with Scuderia Corsa in 2019 was on hand to see Carpenter put the No.20 Fuzzy’s Vodka Chevrolet through its paces.
Graham Rahal in the No.15 Honda was also in action for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.
