McLaren Team Up With Pudsey Bear For Brazil
The McLaren Formula One Team have joined forces with Pudsey Bear and BBC’s Children In Need for this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix.
Pudsey and the Childen In Need logos are appearing on the garages of the McLaren Formula One team for this weekend’s race and McLaren built a rickshaw for BBC’s One Show Rickshaw challenge which sees Abby, 16, from London; Harry, 17, from Plymouth; Kayla, 16 from Derry/Londonderry; Kieran, 18, from South Wales; Maisie, 16 from Southampton and Phoebe, 19, from Leicester ride from Calais in France to BBC Media centre in Manchester.
The route takes the riders through the Channel tunnel up through Wales and to the finish line in Manchester.
Speaking about the partnership with BBC Childen In Need, McLaren Group Chief Operating Officer Jonathan Neale said:

The team have thrown their heart and soul into building an accessible and well-engineered new rickshaw, for an amazing and rewarding project.
