British racing driver Jordan King says he can’t wait to make his IndyCar Series oval debut at the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 next May.

The former Ed Carpenter Racing driver was confirmed as team mate to Graham Rahal and Takuma Sato for next year’s race having completed a partial programme with Ed Carpenter in 2018.

King tweeted:

I’m absolutely thrilled to announce that I will be racing in the 2019 Indianapolis 500 with @RLLracing!

Huge thanks to the team for making this possible and I can’t wait to make my oval debut at the biggest race in the world!
