McLaren Likely To Have One Eye On IndyCar Rivals
McLaren Racing are likely to have their eyes and ears closely to ground on their rivals as the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season gets underway this weekend with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg.
The McLaren Racing team will field Fernando Alonso in the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on May 26.
McLaren have Chevrolet power this season and it is likely that their IndyCar president Bob Fernley will be a regular in the NTT IndyCar Series paddock starting with this weekend’s season opener.
McLaren join Team Penske, Ed Carpenter Racing, Dreyer and Reinbold Racing, AJ Foyt Racing, Juncos Racing and Clauson Marshall Racing with Chevrolet power in 2019.
