Race Day Firestone Fact For The GP Of St Pete


The 2019 NTT IndyCar Series season gets underway with the Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg TODAY!

Team Penske’s Will Power in the No.12 Verizon Chevrolet starts the race from pole position having scored his eighth Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg pole, the 55th of his career.

If today’s race runs the full 110 lap distance, Firstone say that each front tire on winning car will have completed 154,594 rotations around the 14 turn, 1.8 miles street circuit.
