“As previously stated upon Marcus Ericsson’s addition to the team, Marcus will complete reserve driver duties as needed for Alfa Romeo Racing. While his duties as reserve driver do not impact our fight for the NTT IndyCar Series Championship title, we are supportive of Marcus and his role with Alfa Romeo Racing. We wish them well in Melbourne and look forward to getting back on track at Circuit of the Americas.”
Ericsson will join his Alfa Romeo Racing team team mate’s Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi at the race this weekend.
