McLaren Replace A Better Tomorrow Branding With 7-Eleven
The McLaren Renault Formula One team have followed the lead of Scuderia Ferrari by altering their livery for this weekend’s 2019 Formula One season opening Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne’s Albert Park.
The Australian government has a heavy stance on any tobacco related advertising and as a result Ferrari removed their Mission Winnow branding from the SF90 due to its affiliation with Philip Morris International.
As reported by Paddock Eye last week, McLaren who recently announced a commercial partnership with British American Tobacco under their ‘A Better Tomorrow’ brand have removed that branding from the MCL34’s driiven by Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris.
The team will instead have branding from convenience store 7-Eleven.
