Steinbrenner Goes From Winning In Baseball To Winning In IndyCar
George Steinbrenner, the youngest team owner in the NTT IndyCar Series made history on Sunday at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin Texas as Harding Steinbrenner Racing the team he co owns with Mike Harding took their first ever win with Colton Herta.
The 22 year old has winning in his DNA as his Grandfather was the owner of the New York Yankees one of the most successful teams in Major League Baseball history.
The Steinbrenner family still own the team and George Steinbrenner has been able to transfer that experience to the NTT IndyCar Series.
Harding Steinbrenner Racing have a fantastic pool of experienced personnel involved in the team with driver coach Al Unser Jr and former IndyCar race director Brian Barnhart as team president along with a technical partnership with Andretti Technologies.
Herta’s win on Sunday will be the first of many and don’t be surprised if they win more races in 2019.
