The Honda powered NTT IndyCar Series teams are looking strong for this weekend’s Honda Indy Grand Prix of Alabama at Barber Motorsports Park following Friday’s track action.
In the opening session on Friday Chip Ganassi Racing’s Felix Rosenqvist in the No.10 NTT DATA Honda was fastest just ahead of Harding Steinbrenner Racing’s Colton Herta in the No.88 GESS International Honda.
Arrow Schmidt Peterson Motorsports James Hinchcliffe in the No.5 Arrow Electronics Honda was third fastest and the Mayor of HinchTown backed this up in afternoon leading the session while Honda powered cars from five teams occupied the top six.
It is going to be extremely interesting to see how the action plays out today during qualifying.
