Mazepin Not In Talks With Williams About Takeover
Russian billionaire Dmitry Mazepin is not in talks with the Rokit Williams Racing team regarding a potential takeover of the Grove based outfit the team have confirmed.
Williams have a struggled so far this season and have yet to score a point in the first three races of the season. The team have a new line up for 2019 with Robert Kubica returning to Formula One while George Russell made his Formula One debut at the Australian Grand Prix last month.
The team have brought back co founder Sir Patrick Head as a technical consultant with the Englishman having been at the Chinese Grand Prix last weekend.
Deputy team principal with Williams, Claire Williams has repeatedly said that the team is not for sale. Chief Technical Officer Paddy Lowe is on a leave of absence from the team since the start of the season with rumors he is set to leave the team.
If anyone can help return to the team to where they should be it is Sir Patrick Head. The team will be hoping that they can have a strong race next time out in Azerbaijan.
