Speaking to IndyCar.com, Hildebrand commented saying:
I’m excited to get back for Year 2 with these guys. “We learned a lot last year about working together as a group and I’m really confident that we’re going to come back this year stronger than we were.
The news means that Hildebrand will join the field for the Indianapolis 500 open test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on Wednesday.
Team owner Dennis Reinbold commented on the news saying:
Last year, we expanded to two cars with JR and Sage and the combination worked very well. “JR’s experience at Indy brings our team a lot of background to develop the cars quickly in practice and prepare for qualifying.
Hildebrand just missed out on a top ten finish in last years race coming home in eleventh place.
