The 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge takes place in less than a month and with the announcement on Wednesday that we will see 36 cars attempting to qualify for the race it is going to be a cracking two days.

Defending Indianapolis 500 winner Will Power in the No.12 Verizon 5G Chevrolet for Team Penske is aiming to become the first driver since his team mate Helio Castroneves did it in 2000 to win back to back 500’s.

Qualifying is always dramatic and as the debate rumbles on regarding full time entries been given guaranteed spots in the field this year’s qualifying is going to prove to be another extremely exciting affair.
