Fernley Leaves McLaren

McLaren Racing have confirmed that Robert Fernley the president of the IndyCar programme has left the company. The news comes after Fernando Alonso failed to qualify for this weekend’s 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. In a statement however Fernley said that his contract with the Woking based outfit only covered the Indianapolis 500.

Fernley To Lead McLaren IndyCar Programme

Former Force India Team Principal Robert Fernley has been appointed by McLaren to oversee McLaren Racing’s Indianapolis 500 programme.
