The 2023 Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge takes place on Sunday, May 28 and with the news on Thursday that Katherine Legge will attempt to qualify for the race with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, the field has swelled to 32 confirmed entries.

The NTT IndyCar Series are considering for future 500’s that all full-time entries are guaranteed a spot on the grid for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing.
It will be interesting to see who will be the 33rd entrant. It could possibly be Paretta Autosport with Simona De Silvestro however, they will have to find a new partner as they are not working with Ed Carpenter Racing like last season.
