The 100th edition of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil is just 50 days away.

This week the Verizon IndyCar Series conducted a single day aero kit evaluation test at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The 33 car field is taking shape nice with Townsend Bell joining the Andretti Autosport stable for the race.

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports are currently negotiating with several parties to add to their full time line up of James Hinchcliffe and Mikhail Aleshin for the most motor race in the world.

KVSH Racing have one car set to race at the 500 with Sebastien Bourdais driving the No.11 Team Hydroxycut KVSH Racing Chevrolet however it has emerged this week that Grace Autosport are currently in talks with KVSH Racing about a possible partnership for the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by PennGrade Motor Oil with Katherine Legge driving the Grace car.
