The Verizon IndyCar Series will make history in just 84 days when the 100th edition of the Indianapolis 500 takes place at the Indianapolis 500.
Last years race was one of the most exciting events and the 2016 edition will be even more so due to the historic nature of the race. This year history will be made when the all female Grace Autosport will take part in the race with Katherine Legge driving the car.
Speaking to Paddock Eye about the new team, Mario Andretti commented by saying:
I have no idea how they will do, but I hope they do well because they are an asset to the field. Also, because of the magnitude of the event, it’s a great opportunity for them to showcase their skills.
