Ireland’s James Roe in the No.29 Topcon Andretti Autosport Dallara had a breakthrough result at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course on Saturday.
The Kildare native started the Gallagher INDY NXT presented by Firestone Grand Prix from the front row alongside his teammate Hunter Mclrea and following a race long battle he came home in second place just behind Mclrea.
Roe has been making great progress with Andretti Autosport recently following a solid finish in Iowa where Rowe finished ninth.
In Nashville, at the Music City Grand Prix, Rowe finished the race event in fourth place and on Saturday, having qualified up front in second place he was competitive all race long and came away with a podium.
