The Indianapolis Motor Speedway plays host to the Indy 500 test on Wednesday and Thursday before the teams prepare to head to Barber Motorsports Park for the Children’s Indy Grand Prix of Alabama next weekend.

From Alabama the teams return to Indianapolis for the Sonsio Grand Prix of Indianapolis on the IMS road course.

Following the road course race, the track will be transformed back to the oval configuration ahead of practice for the Greatest Spectacle In Racing.

Qualifying for the 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge takes place over the weekend of May 17th and 18th respectively.

The 109th running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge takes place on Sunday, May 25 which is just 33 days away when 33 drivers will line up in eleven rows of three.
