Motorsport fans from all over the world descended on Chicester over the weekend for the annual Goodwood Festival Of Speed.

The four day event which takes place on the grounds of the Duke of Richmond’s estate and features the famous hill climb which pits drivers from across all racing disciplines against each other to battle the climb up the hill against the clock.

The event had everything, wonderful cars on display from across the world, racing cars, production cars and super cars.

Fans also had the opportunity to meet their racing heroes. There time Indianapolis 500 winner and four time NTT IndyCar Series champion Dario Franchitti was on hand to help celebrate 50 years since Sir Jackie Stewart won his first championship.

The event saw Sir Jackie, and his sons Paul and Mark take his three championship winning cars up Goodwood hill in formation.

There was a wonderful moment when Sir Jackie stopped his car mid run to present his wife Lady Helen with a pink rose. Lady Helen has dementia and Sir Jackie through a new charitable foundation is searching for a cure for the disease.

Back to the action we had McLaren Racing’s Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris in action while Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 team’s Valtteri Bottas was also in action driving the W08 up the hill.

The Renault F1 team’s Daniel Ricciardo drove Kimi Raikkonen’s 2012 Renault livered Lotus.

Antonio Giovinazzi drove an Alfa Romeo F1 car up the hill.

The McLaren Formula One team were fantastic as they had interactive events for their McLaren + members with a simulator giving you three laps around the legendary Monaco circuit.

The team also had a pit stop challenge which was a fantastic opportunity to get fans up close and personal to the car.
