Verizon IndyCar Series veteran Tony Kanaan heads into next weekend’s 2018 season opening Firestone Grand Prix of St Petersburg with excitement as he starts a new chapter in his career.
Following four season’s with Chip Ganassi Racing the Brazilian moves to AJ Foyt Racing for 2018 having signed a multi-year agreement to race for the Chevrolet powered team.
Kanaan forms half of an all Brazilian driver line up as he is joined at the team by 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series rookie Matheus Leist.
Kanaan is one of the most experienced drivers on the 2018 Verizon IndyCar Series grid. The 2004 champion and 2013 Indianapolis 500 winner will be able to pass on his wealth of experience and technical Knowhow to Leist.
