Well!! What can I say?! It has been a great day for British motorsport. In the World Rally Championship they had a first time winner in M-Sport driver Elfyn Evans who won Rally Wales GB, the final round of the 2017 FIA World Rally Championship.
British team M-Sport were crowned the 2017 World Rally Championship manufacturers champions.
In Formula One, at the Mexican Grand Prix, despite getting a puncture at the start of the race, Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s Lewis Hamilton became Britain’s most successful Formula One driver as he claimed his fourth Formula One drivers championship with two races remaining.
Not only has it been a great day for British motorsport but it has also been a great week as in the Verizon IndyCar Series, British born Ed Jones who grew up in the UAE has signed for Chip Ganassi Racing replacing Tony Kanaan.
Jones who won the 2017 Sunoco rookie of the year award will drive the No.10 NTT DATA Honda alongside Scott Dixon in 2018.
