The 2020 Autosport International Show officially opened on Thursday at Birmingham’s NEC Arena. There was plenty to see with the unveiling of the M Sport Ford WRC Team’s 2020 Ford Fiesta WRC livery.
M Sport Ford WRC Managing Director Malcolm Wilson OBE and Team Principal Richard Millener were on the Autosport Stage along with their drivers, Teemu Suninen, Esapekka Lappi and Gus Greensmith to discuss the 2020 season.
Today the show plays host to Sky Sports F1HD’s Karun Chandok, W Series CEO Catherine Bond Muir and series and series advisor David Coulthard.
Speaking about the opening day of the show, Autosport Sales Director Valentyna Podgorodeteska said:
We are delighted with a brilliant first day, the Live Action Arena has been particularly popular with crowds wowed by stunt performances including the two seater drag racer making its first loud and impressive indoor appearance.
“We are celebrating the 30th year of the show and seven decades of the Autosport Magazine and taking the opportunity to look 70 years into the future as well as celebrating the past with significant cars from every decade.”
