Mercedes Lewis Hamilton who could win his fourth Formula One world championship on Sunday topped the time sheets in the final practice session ahead of qualifying for Sunday’s United States Grand Prix.
Hamilton set a fastest time of 01:34.478s. The Englishman ended the session just ahead of Sebastian Vettel and Mercedes Valtteri Bottas.
Kimi Raikkonen was fourth fastest just ahead of Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen while Felipe Massa was sixth fastest for Williams Martini Racing.
Nico Hulkenberg was seventh fastest just ahead of his new Renault team mate Carlos Sainz.
Daniel Ricciardo was ninth in the second Red Bull just ahead of Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon.
Lance Stroll was 12th for Williams just ahead of McLaren Honda’s Fernando Alonso. Stoffel Vandoorne was 14th just ahead of Brendon Hartley who was extremely impressive this morning.
Kevin Magnussen was 16th just ahead of Marcus Ericsson and Pascal Wehrlein. Romain Grosjean in the second Haas was 19th while Daniil Kvyat rounded out the order in 20th place.
