Mercedes AMG PETRONAS F1 Team’s George Russell and Lewis will start Sunday’s Sao Paolo Grand Prix from the front row following a sensational F1 Sprint Race. Carlos Sainz finished second but starts Sunday’s race in seventh due to an engine change.

Champion Max Verstappen starts the race from third just ahead of Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc.

Lando Norris starts the race from sixth for McLaren just ahead of Carlos Sainz while Sprint Race polesitter Kevin Magnussen starts the race from eighth place.

Sebastian Vettel starts the race from ninth just ahead of Pierre Gasly who rounded out the top ten.

Daniel Ricciardo starts P11 just ahead of Lance Stroll and Mick Schumacher. The Alfa Romeo F1 Team’s Guanyu Zhou and Valtteri Bottas start the race from 14th and 15th place respectively.

Fernando Alonso starts P16 just ahead of Yuki Tsunoda and Esteban Ocon in P18.

Williams Racing’s Nicholas Latifi and Alex Albon round out the grid in 19th and 20th respectively.
